PLATINUM POWER SPARK PLUGS Champion Platinum Power spark plugs use a platinum pad welded to a nickel alloy center electrode for long life The advantage of this design is that platinum has extremely good wear characteristics and can reduce gap growth The electrodes use our exclusive Heat-Active alloy to reach operating temperatures quickly and maintain stable operating temperatures under varying engine loads Spark scavenging is kept to a minimum by combining a thin-wire center electrode with a V-trimmed ground electrode. Platinum Power plugs provide exceptional up-sell opportunities as replacements for engines originally equipped with standard nickel/copper spark plugs
